As you may have noticed, the Daily WPF has been less than daily the past two weeks. This will remain the case until next year :)

In the meantime I'd like to wish you all happy holidays; enjow Christmas, with your family and loved ones. Share meals and conversations and have a good time!

See you next year!

Cheers,
Ruben

The Chart feature of Silverlight is getting a lot of bloggage. Another great topic about Bubble Charts (amongst others) by Jesse Liberty!

XamlReader is Culture Specific

This is a nice tip from Jeff Prosise: XamlReader.Load takes Culture specific strings!

Good tip. It can be pretty frustrating to try and find these kind of bugs. But I do believe there is also a Code Analysis warning about adding CurrentCulture when using String.Format().

WPF & Silverlight Line of Business UI Design Pattern Home Page

Karl Shifflet has started a great page called the WPF & Silverlight Line of Business UI Design Pattern Home Page. It's all about using WPF/SL for LOB applications and he's planning on explaining all about the Model-View-ViewModel pattern (used extensively in Prism).
have decided to start with the 4th article first. I have been working with Jaime Rodriguez and Josh Smith a good bit on M-V-VM and wanted to get this posted as it’s foundational to all articles and an area that I think is overlooked.

Good stuff!
